Paragon Technologies reports record annual revenues over $100 million for the first time in the company’s history.

SI Systems celebrates its 60th year of business, making SI one of the longest-standing material handling companies owned and operated in the United States.
2011
SI introduces the Mobile-Matic™ To the material handling industries as the first and only mobile A-frame, offering clients a lower-cost solution to A-frame technology. The Mobile-Matic™ quickly becomes a transformative solution in the marketplace.
2009
Gad Partners Fund, a value-focused investment partnership, acquires a controlling stake in SI’s parent company, Paragon Technologies. Sham Gad appointed Chairman of Paragon Technologies and SI Systems.
2002
PARAGON trademarks SINTHESIS,®
a real-time software solution that optimizes planning, warehousing, inventory management, routing, order fulfillment, and distribution. Warehouse Distribution Optimizer™, PARAGON’s proprietary software suite, is trademarked. This software analyzes all of the order picking systems in a distribution center in real time.
2000
SI changes its name to PARAGON TECHNOLOGIES, INC. as part of a new strategy to become a full-service material handling organization.
1999
SI HANDLING SYSTEMS, INC. purchases Ermanco Conveyor, broadening its presence in the material handling industry.
1998
SI HANDLING SYSTEMS, INC. is named one of the world’s Top 20 Material Handling Systems Suppliers. SI obtains ISO 9001 certification.
1996
SI HANDLING SYSTEMS creates the Gantry Robotic Order Picking System for medium-volume SKUs. The U.S. government awards SI Handling Systems the Red River Army Depot installation, the company’s largest government contract.
1995
SI introduces ACCUPIC,® a new paperless, high-speed order picking system for small packages.
1993
SI/Baker Inc. is formed as a joint venture to provide automated prescription fulfillment systems.
1989
SI acquires the rights to provide Dispen-SI-matic® throughout North America. Both the single and dual-tier Traveling Head Dispensers (THD) are introduced.
1972
SI is one of the first technology companies listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange. SI acquires the right to ITEMATIC,™ an automated order selection system for processing individual items.
1971
To round out its order selection business, SI acquires the Tilt Tray / Gull Wing Sorter, a high-speed, high-volume sortation machine. SI develops software to better integrate equipment and order processing.
1970
SI HANDLING SYSTEMS, INC. expands its audience by entering the international marketplace.
1969
SI continues to increase its market share in the manufacturing and distribution segments with the addition of CARTRAC,® a rugged yet simple component in a floor- or overhead-mounted application for loads up to 5,000 lbs.
1968
SI enters the order selection/distribution marketplace with the purchase of ORDERMATIC,™ a computer-controlled machine that picks full cases of product.
1960
SI installs its first LO-TOW®, a switch-cart system, at Spector Freight in Brooklyn, NY. The LO-TOW revolutionizes the industry with the in-floor chain conveyor system.
1958
Jack Bradt, a Cornell University engineering graduate, founded SI HANDLING SYSTEMS, INC. The company’s first product is manually-wheeled carts used in manufacturing and distribution environments.
