SI Systems’ towline (sometimes referred to as “towveyor” or “drag chain system”) seamlessly integrates into new or existing facilities and can support movements such as:

  • Continuous creeping – All carts move continuously at a very slow speed - synchronous
  • Index and dwell – All carts move at a high speed between stations (“index”) and then stop at the station for work to be performed (“dwell”) - synchronous
  • Asynchronous – Carts move independently of each other via in-floor cart stops
  • Towline is more reliable and predictable than guided vehicle technology (AGV and AGC) and its standard in-floor design eliminates operator trip hazards while allowing four-sided access to the work.
